Lead TherapistI am a Mental Health Therapist with an MSW and LMSW, and for the past five years I have had the privilege of working at Hopes Helping Hands, LLC. I provide therapy to individuals, adolescents, and families who are navigating emotional challenges, life transitions, and mental health concerns.
My approach is client-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. I draw from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness techniques to meet each client’s unique needs. I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences.
I believe therapy is a collaborative process. Together, we work to identify goals, build coping skills, and foster resilience. My goal is to empower clients to gain insight, strengthen emotional well-being, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.

Mental Health Therapist
Hi, my name is Carla Williams, and I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with Hope’s Helping Hands. I have over 10 years of experience working with children and families. I earned my BA in Communications from St. Augustine’s College and my MS in Education Counseling from Wilmington University. My biggest strengths are listening, not judging, staying neutral, and thinking outside the box, to ensure you feel safe in opening up and sharing. My approach is warm and interactive. I believe in treating others with dignity, respect, and compassion. I am committed to continued professional growth and am working towards getting certified as a Grief Counselor and earning my MSW in Social Work. You don’t have to carry everything alone. Let’s talk about it. I enjoy spending my free time with my family, listening to music, traveling, and worshipping God. Please join me in a safe and respectful space to share your thoughts and feelings.
Respectfully,
Carla Williams, LMSW
